That joyful time of year is heading this way again once more. Almost everyone loves and looks forward to Christmas. Let's see...eggnog, yummy food, snow, holiday cheer...did I say food?? AND opening all those presents is exciting for everyone. But...one aspect of Christmas puts a damper on things. I'm sure you know what it is. All that spending! As soon as the season arrives there is constant spending...generally all the way up to Christmas Day. Are you ready to get out there and start purchasing for your friends and family? I was probably about 12 years old one Christmas morning when I woke up to discover 4 large presents under the tree from my older brother. I was really surprised. He only had a part time job and I didn't expect a present from him. I couldn't wait to open it! I tore into the wrapping paper only to discover a piece of licorice inside the box. My brother thought it was a lot of fun to give something so tiny...but I was kind of disappointed. I had just gotten braces and couldn't even eat licorice. When I mention cheap Christmas presents, 1 stick of licorice really isn't what I mean.
